Product Review: Victoria Fine Foods Vegan Pasta Sauces

Victoria Fine Foods Vegan Pasta Sauces

I recently discovered Victoria Fine Foods Non-GMO, gluten-free and kosher pasta sauces and if you aren’t familiar, let me introduce you! Victoria Fine Foods has been around since 1929 and is based in Brooklyn, New York. The company focuses on fresh, real ingredients, rich flavor and is considered the top-selling slow kettle-cooked pasta sauce manufacturer in the United States. While this company does make sauces that aren’t vegan, they have a full line of exclusively vegan sauces. I think that’s one way to show the vegan community some love and dedication, don’t you?

Victoria Fine Foods Vegan Vodka Sauce

I wasn’t able to sample all of the vegan varieties they offer, but I did try a few (Vodka Sauce, Alfredo and Organic Tomato Herb). Their Vodka Sauce was my absolute favorite! I guess I am a novice when it comes to vodka pasta sauces as I thought there was actually alcohol in the sauce, turns out that’s not the case. It was absolutely fantastic. My only complaint is that the jar wasn’t big enough. After smothering my pasta with this sauce I kept wishing there was MORE sauce! Next time I will have to buy two jars– it really is that good!

I cooked a package of organic Bionaturae linguine pasta and added in four Tofurky Italian Sausages (cut up and cook separately in a pan with a little oil) before adding in the Vodka Sauce. It was simply devine! Serves about 4-5 people or makes enough for plenty of leftovers. Yum!
