Product Review: Be Bright ~ Superfood Oil Blend + Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Be Bright 2

There are hundreds of nutritional supplements out on grocery store shelves these days. A visit to your local natural food store will reveal the many varieties of products– everything from vitamins to protein powders to liquid probiotics to packaged seeds like hemp.

Not long ago I was introduced to a supplement that stands out in my mind for a number of reasons: it’s available in liquid form (no big horse pills to swallow), tastes good and the product is made from eco-friendly packaging.

After a little research, I found out that Be Bright is made by Coromega, is a Non-GMO, gluten free, dairy free and vegan oil blend that combines some of the five best superfoods and healthy fats together in one– chia, coconut, avocado, hemp and black cumin. The creamy coconuty and chia seed flavor blend contains: Superfood Non-GMO oil blend (chia seed oil, organic coconut oil, organic avocado oil, organic hemp seed oil, organic black cumin seed oil), water, pure cane Non-GMO sugar, gum arabic, natural flavor, citric acid, xanthan gum, potassium sorbate (to ensure freshness) and Vitamin E (as d-alpha tocopherol).

Each cold-pressed serving (take 2 tablespoons daily for optimum results) contains:

  • Omega-3, 6 and 9
  • Powerful antioxidants
  • Vitamins and minerals
  • Metabolism boost
  • Increased energy and vitality
  • Natural detoxifier

The creamy supplement is pretty sugary so it does make a nice addition to an already sweet fruit smoothie like the one I created below.

Be Bright can also be a great addition to a sweet or tangy salad dressing. Additionally, I’d imagine it would make an easy supplement for kids because it’s both creamy and sweet and tastes similar to a pina colada. Please note that Be Bright must be kept refrigerated after opening and is best served chilled.

Be Bright can be purchased online on a number of websites and runs in the $16-18 price range per 10.6 ounce packet. For more information about Be Bright and Coromega products, visit their website or follow them on any of their social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
