I don’t know about you, but I am not generally obsessed with very many “things” in life. Ok maybe a few things: a nice bubbly glass of chilled St. Germain, cowgirl boots (vegan of course), soft clean sheets, my super-absorbent hair towel and…well…lip balm. Yup, I am so into lip balms that I think I can officially call myself a lip balm connoisseur. I could even go as far as calling myself a lip balm fiend. I jones for my favorite tube many times during the day, whether or not my lips are dry. Applying lip balm is the the last thing I do before going to bed, and one of the first things I do every morning. I have a tube of my favorite balm next to my bed, in the pouch of my purse, on the counter in the bathroom, and of course, in the glovebox of my car. I’ve made sure to cover all my territories so that I never have to go without. I love lip balm so much that I dream about it.
Have I mentioned that I love lip balm? Even though I am a lip balm junkie, not just any balm will do. There are so many balms on the market now, so many flavors (red velvet, chocolate mint chip, chai spice), plus so many types (organic and natural, bee free, nut free, gluten free) and the list goes on. I recently made it my mission to try nearly all the vegan lip balms that I could get my hands, I mean lips, on. I thought it would be a great idea to sample as many vegan lip balms as possible to showcase them for all of you and also to find out which, in my humble opinion, tastes, feels the yummiest and lasts the longest. And, with dry weather and winter quickly approaching, not to mention gift giving season, I thought this list may come in handy as a great reference for those of you who are also lovers of the “balm” as well.
